Ever wonder why your life so rarely works out like you thought it would?
For instance, I get infected ingrown toenails. Like every other month or
so.
This isn't really profound or anything it's just in my mind at the moment
because my right big toe is bothering me currently. Instead of clipping
it I'm writing something in my webpage. That's not too bright, is it?
Pardon me for a moment.
Isn't it kinda silly of me to tell you when I took a break in typing?
Time passed for me, but not for you.
Unless of course you clipped your toenails in that space, too.
That's a neat idea.
Here, get a nail clipper, and during this next
space, trim
your toenails, I'll trim the toennails on my other foot. That way, even
though the events are seperated in time, the reader and the writer have a
shared experience. Okay, got your toenails and your clipper?
Let's go!
Well, do you feel as though we've shared a special bond? That we're
somehow now closer? I do, but I'm a silly delusional freak. No, I don't
think I've learned anything about my inner feelings, or that this is a
deep metaphor for life.
But the thought that maybe some of you actually stopped reading the page,
and trimmed your toenails along with me does sorta warm my heart. Maybe
you're a delusional freak too. Will you be my friend?
What do you think of the appearance of this page? I thought about
putting a background or something here, but I didn't want to spend the
time to pick one out, especially since I don't know what I'm talking
about yet. I'm not sure why I centered the text, but I just kinda like
it.
I have four things on my taskbar right now. Two are directly related to
editing, Netscape and Telnet. The other two are my mp3 player and my
folder of mp3 songs.
Other times for this page I've had these going, plus FTP, plus another
telnet to talk to people, plus Paint Shop Pro to work on graphics, and a
few windowsto find the stuff I want to FTP.
I like the taskbar.
My song just got over, and I had to click on another one. Maybe I
should get one of those things to make mp3 playlists.
My glow in the dark suction cup frog refuses to stay stuck to my computer
and my tie fighter pilot keeps falling over. Such is the entropy of my
desk.
I'm going to go put my boots on now.
Have a nice day.
